I grew up in a Godly home with Godly parents and I was in church every time the doors were open. Then in my teen years I started to live a double life. On Sundays I was one person and the rest of the week I was a very different person. This went on for most of my teen years. I was always going back and forth and back and forth. Always on a spiritual roller coaster. Until one weekend after partying in Nashville I was headed home and just started sobbing. I remember like it was yesterday. I heard God say “Michael it’s time to choose Me or the world, it’s time to stop riding the fence.” So I said ok God, I want to choose you so bad, but I also know there has to be more to you than just going to church on Sundays and Wednesdays and reading my bible every now and then. After a couple hour drive home of talking to God and pouring my heart out to Him, I said “please God show me who you really are, and show me how to live a life of fulfillment and not just go through the motions.” That very next night I ran into a buddy I use to party with all the time, but this time it was different! He had such a passion for God that I had never seen before, and I knew that whatever he had I wanted it. So he invited me to his house the following week to worship with a few guys. I went to his house not really knowing what to expect, but also excited to see what God was about to do. That night I experienced God like I never had before. I felt his presence for the first time in my life! Over the next 5 years of my life I continued to learn that God wasn’t all about the rules and regulations that I had grown up around, but it was about my relationship with Him. Nothing I sought after would ever fill that void like Him. No matter what I’ve done or what I will do, His love for me is unconditional! Now I strive to show others this same love so they too might experience the same life changing love that I experienced.

I was 20 years old and 7 months pregnant with my first child when I accepted Christ as my Lord and Savior. Since that time, God has protected and provided for me in more ways than I ever thought possible. As I look back over the last 32 years I can see very clearly where God’s hand was in many situations in my life. I can say with complete certainty that I had not been saved by the grace, mercy and love of God I would not have been able to endure some of the darkest and most difficult days of my sinful life.

Prayer of Salvation

We are saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ; His death, burial, and resurrection. Salvation is a gift from God, not a result of our good works or of any human efforts (Ephesians 2:8-9; Galatians 2:16, 3:8; Titus 3:5; Romans 10:9-10; Acts 16:31; Hebrews 9:22).

"Dear Heavenly Father, You have called me to Yourself in the name of Your Son Jesus. I realize that Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life, and I acknowledge to You that I am a sinner. I believe that Your only begotten Son Jesus Christ shed His precious blood on the cross, died for my sins, and rose again. Cleanse me, and forgive me of my sins as I forgive anyone who has ever sinned against me. Lord, I desire to be led by Your Holy Spirit so I can faithfully follow You and obey all of Your commandments. I ask You for the strength to love You more than anything else. I also ask You to bring genuine believers into my life who will encourage me to live for You. Jesus, I am truly grateful for Your grace which has led me to repentance and has saved me from my sins. Transform my life so that I may bring glory and honor to You alone and not to myself. Right now I confess Jesus as the Lord of my life. This very moment I acknowledge that Jesus Christ is my Savior and according to His Word, I am born again. Thank You, Jesus, for coming into my life and hearing my prayer. I ask all of this in the name of my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Amen."
